Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Friends of the Foundation are invited to walk the holy places. Each pilgrimage is accompanied in spirit — and often in person — by the Latin Patriarchate, and centred on the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.

The route

Eight days, walked slowly

DAY 1–2

Jerusalem — the Old City

[Placeholder] Arrival, the Via Dolorosa on foot, and the first Mass at the Holy Sepulchre.

DAY 3

Bethlehem

[Placeholder] The Basilica of the Nativity, Holy Family Hospital and Bethlehem University.

DAY 4–5

Galilee

[Placeholder] Nazareth, Capernaum and the lakeside, with a day given to silence.

DAY 6–7

Parishes of the Patriarchate

[Placeholder] Visits to schools and parishes sustained by the communities.

DAY 8

Return to the Sepulchre

[Placeholder] A final Mass at the tomb before departure.
